These MERV 13 filters are comparable to MPR 1500-1900 and FPR 10, offering superior filtration efficiency. Designed with electrostatically charged synthetic material, they effectively draw in and capture allergens ranging from 0.3 to 1.0 microns, including lint, dust mites, spores, pollen, pet dander, fine dust, smoke, viruses, and bacteria.
The Aerostar filters provide a simple and cost-effective solution for creating a healthier home environment, free from airborne particles that can trigger allergy and asthma symptoms. By removing dirt and reducing strain on the motor, these filters also improve the efficiency of your HVAC unit, leading to reduced maintenance and utility costs.
For optimal performance, it is recommended to change the filter every 60 to 90 days. However, during peak summer and winter months, when your unit is working the hardest, it is advisable to increase the frequency to 30 days. These filters are compatible with both furnaces and AC units.
